Stephanie Thomas, M. Ed., CCRP, Clinical Research Project Manager, Department of Emergency Medicine, will be giving an overview of a new clinical trial. The FASTEST research study is being conducted to determine if a protein (rFVIIa) that our body makes to stop bleeding at the site of injury to a blood vessel, can slow bleeding in the brain and improve outcomes. They are reaching out to the community to raise awareness of this new trial. Â
This is being done to determine if a prtoten (rFVlla) that our body makes to stop bleeding at the site of injury to a blood vessel, can slow bleeding in the brain and improve outcomes.
