Andrew Ringer, MD

Andrew Ringer, MD, is a neurosurgeon with Mayfield Brain & Spine, Chief of Neurosciences for TriHealth, and Director of the Division of Neurosurgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. He is a board member of the Mayfield Education & Research Foundation and the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.

As a co-founder of the Endovascular Neurosurgery Research Group, a national research consortium, Dr. Ringer has long been at the forefront of clinical research in the use of endovascular approaches to diagnosing and treating cerebrovascular disease.

Michael Robinson, MD, PhD

Michael Robinson, MD, PhD, is a dual fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with Mayfield Brain & Spine. He earned his doctorate and medical degrees from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and subsequently completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Robinson continued his training with a fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, and a fellowship in open cerebrovascular surgery at University of Miami in Miami, FL.

Dr. Robinson uses open and endovascular approaches for the treatment of brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, arteriovenous fistulas, acute ischemic stroke and vascular malformations of the spine. He also treats hydrocephalus, Chiari malformations, brain tumors and spinal disorders.

Matt Smith, MD

Dr. Smith completed his medical degree and Residency at the University of Cincinnati in 2019. He also completed two fellowships specializing in Neurocritical Care and Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology. Dr. Smith is a critical care and interventional neurologist at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He specializes in minimally invasive treatment of strokes, aneurysms, carotid stenosis, vascular malformations, back pain, and other disorders of the brain and spinal cord.
